Our Keynote Speaker this year is Dr Glenda Stone, previous European Businesswoman of the Year, founder and CEO of the 30,000 strong Aurora Businesswomen’s Network and Co-chair of the government's Women's Enterprise Taskforce. Glenda has won numerous business awards and is regularly cited in the media regarding her views on women and work related issues. A straight-talking Australian, she says her top priority at the Conference is to convince more women to be ambitious, take risks and expand their businesses.
Glenda started out as a teacher in the Australian outback before working in the Queensland Cabinet Office and the Treasury. After moving to the UK, she worked in international trade and investment before embarking on her own venture. In 2000, Glenda founded London based Aurora, an impressive 30,000 strong women’s business network which also provides direct recruitment for blue-chip companies at wheretowork.com. Glenda is married with one son, holds a Dip. Teach; a B.Ed; a M.Ed and an honorary doctorate from Leeds Metropolitan University.

Our minds create illusions for us all of the time. Some of those illusions can be empowering, some limiting. This short motivational session will explore the nature of belief (self-belief and otherwise) and how it filters perception and shapes our behaviour.
The material and the approach will be taken from the ‘Magical Motivation’ programme which integrates Neuro Linguistic Programming coaching with conjuring for team building, improving communication skills and therapy.
